GFTCh Greybanks Georgie and owner Pete Southee.

Georgie was sired by GFTCh Hurleyhall Vikiing (Imp UK), with her dam being GFTCh Greybanks Molly.
Originally kept by Tony Hogarth however, ill health at the time meant that Tony could not give Georgie the time and training she deserved. At 9 months of age she went to Pete Southee, this proved to be the perfect match. Pete had the patience to work through Georgies confidence issues and a fantastic partnership was born.
Pete said he recognised her willingness to please and gradually her confidence and abilities shone through. Georgie went directly from the novice class to the open class. At the same time she was becoming Pete’s hunting companion, going from strength to strength. She retrieved 80 quail in one very memorable day of hunting.

2015 NZ Retriever 1st
2017 NZ Retriever 1st 
South Island Events: two 1sts. Two 2nds and two 3rds
North Island Events two 2nds.
Georgie gained 47 challenge points from Retriever events and 16 from All Breeds RFF for a total of 63 challenges.

Georgie won multiple NZGTA annual awards. Shadow Cup (twice), Gundog of the Year (twice), Retriever of the Year (2013), Bill Streeter Trophy (twice), Gordon Clarke Trophy (twice for RFF) and was in the winning SI team on two occasions. Georgie also gained 1st and 2nd placings in the first Retriever Walk up trials held in Canterbury and in 2016 competed in the Australian and NSW Champs.
